August 16th was an awesome day of worship and physical and spiritual rain.
We had an amazing time, it got started about an hour late, but God gave us enought time to start things off with much excitement.
We had to leave a little early, our girls were wet and cold so we had to get them dry and warm. However we did get to hear Tree by Leaf. It was a duo, atleast on the 16th, with an awesome acoustic Simon and Garfunkel sound.
We received word from Community Bible Church that people were ministered to and God had His way.

Mended Vessels is one of 39 artists on Vol VI of the Oasis CD Manufacturing's "Oasis Inspirational CD". Our song "Who is the One" is the single that is on the CD. It will be sent to radio stations across the Continental USA and Alaska. We will be working with our fans to get the word out to the radio stations that Mended Vessels is on the CD and that they should be played for all to hear, that Jesus is the One.

Hey Y'all,
Just in case there is any question, our foundation is Jesus Christ. We are starting to build the structure of the ministry that God has laid on our hearts. That structure is prayer. Prayer is the joists, it is the studs that make up the walls, it is the ridge beam and the rafters.
I hope you get the point i am trying to make. We cannot do it on our own strength. We need people to pray with and for us. We need pray-ers. If you would like to be part of the structure of the ministry of Mended Vessels, please send us an email letting us know. That way we can add you to an email list, our Prayer List, and keep you up-to- date on what is happening and what God is laying on our hearts. And, we in turn can pray for you as you send us your prayer requests.

For those of you who may be able to help, at this time, we are in need of a keyboard and keyboard amp for Valerie and a guitar for Bryan. We also need a couple of good mics and at least one boom stand.

Thursday March 23-Sunday March 26, Valerie and i were at the CIA Summit 2006 (Hosted by IndieHeaven, the best Christan Indie Musican site out there) in Franklin, TN. We learned so much from so many people who attended and from all who spoke on the different panels. It was so refreshing to hear others who have a heart to share the Love of God and the realities of living on this broken planet with anyone who would have ears to hear.

We ask for your prayers as we seek God for some specific direction in the desires He has put on our hearts. God has impressed on my heart some practical things about a vocational ministry and the work that He requires of us as Christians and as vocational ministers.

Having said that, if you have been blessed by our ministry and sense God's working through us, we ask that you would consider both praying for us and financially supporting us (whether through a monthly gift or a one off gift).
